SC Johnson History
Sc Johnson was founded in the year 1886. The company has been operational for almost 199 years now. The founder of the company was Samuel Curtis Johnson Sr. The company started its operations after the parquet flooring division was taken over by the founder of the company, from the Racine Hardware Manufacturing Company. It was named SC Johnson. The main product of the company during that time was to sell parquet flooring. Slowly and steadily, the company also added more products as well, namely – Johnson’s Dance Wax, Johnson’s Prepared Wax and Johnson’s Wood Dye.
