Goodyear History

Goodyear was founded in the year 1898. The company has been operational for more than 120 years now. The founder of the company was Frank Seiberling. The name of the company was named after the person who had invented vulcanised rubber, known as Charles Goodyear. The company started its operations by selling only bicycle and carriage tires only. In the year 1901, the company had provided the car manufacturer, Ford, with its racing tires. Then in the year 1908, all the Ford Model T started to feature Goodyear tires only.
