Alcoa History
Alcoa was founded in the year 1888. The company has been operational for almost 130 years now. The founder of the company was Charles Martin Hall. The founder of the company discovered the process for smelting aluminium, and that was the only known process at that time for manufacturing aluminium. Therefore, with the help of Alfred E Hunt, Pittsburg Reduction Company was born.
