Rinker materials was founded by Marshall Rinker and A.V HansenaHH in 1926. In 2003 Rinker Group demerged from CSR limited. In 2004 the company had anet profit of 492 Million USD, 14,000 employees and sales were around 3700 Million USD. CEMEX Australia Pty ltd bought Rinker Group in $14.2 Billion USD takeover bid. The chairmen of the board along with the other board members were appointed by CEMEX.
