Time Warner Cable was founded in the year 1962. The company has been active for almost 57 years now. The founder of the company was Time Incorporated Cable Television. The former name of the company was Television Communications. In the year 1995, the company had launched the Southern Tier On-Line Community – which was a cable modem service later known as Road Runner High-Speed Online. The same year, talks had begun which would then result in Warner’s acquisition of Paragon Cable as well. Glenn Britt was the company CEO from the year 2001 until the year 2013.
